Day 1 : HOMETOWN-SURABAYA-BANYUWANGI/SEMPOL (L,D)
Surabaya-Banyuwangi/Sempol : 7 Hours
Upon arrival in Surabaya airport then transfer to Sempol or Banyuwangi. Overnight.
Day 2 : BANYUWANGI/SEMPOL- IJEN-SUKAMADE (B,L,D)
Ijen-Sukamade : 6 Hours
Depart at 03.30 from hotel and drive by jeep to Paltuding. Trekk 3.5 km / 1,5 hours through the slope of Mt Ijen. On the way you will meet traditional miners carrying up to 80 kg of yellow sulfur blocks by bamboo baskets. After enjoying the biggest most acid crater in the world then descend. Proceed to Sukamade, turtle Beach. On the way you will be passing cocoa, coffee, rubber and coconut plantation, and sometimes friendly plantation workers are working. You can stop at Rajegwesi beach for a while after to rest before ready for another more bumpy ride and crossing rivers. Check in at Sukamade Guesthouse. At 09.00 PM walk to Sukamade Beach to wait for turtle ashore and lay eggs (not guaranteed).
Day 3: SUKAMADE-KALIBARU (B,L,D)
Sukamade –Kalibaru : 5 Hours
At 06.30 walk to Sukamade Beach and release baby turtle to the ocean. Breakfast and check out. Drive to Teluk Hijau or Green Bay, beautiful hidden secluded beach in Meru Betiri National Park. Trekk for 45 minutes to the Green Bay. Return to Jeep and drive to Coconut Sugar Industry. Drive to Kalibaru. Check in.
Day 4 : KALIBARU-BROMO (B,L,D)
Kalibaru-Bromo : 4 Hours
After breakfast join mini plantation tour to see various crops such as coffee and cocoa, and then proceed to enjoy Dutch Colonial Railway (Lori Ride Tour) from Kalibaru Train Station to Garahan Train Station passing old tunnels and village landscape. Drive to Cemoro Lawang, the closest village to Tengger Caldera. Overnight.
Day 5 : BROMO-RAFTING-SURABAYA (B,L,D)
BROMO-Surabaya: 3.5 Hours
Depart at 04.00 PM from hotel directly drive by jeep to Mt Penanjakan (2700 m) to see sunrise with background of Mt Bromo, Mt Semeru and other peaks in East Java. Drive to sea of sand, ride by horse to the foot of Bromo and climb stairs on slope of Mt Bromo to see active Bromo crater. Drive to whispering Savannah, the hidden beauty and Tengger Caldera. Return to hotel and breakfast. Drive to Pekalen River for white water rafting to challenge your rafting skill through rapids from grade II and IIII. Along rafting trip you will see natural landscape, waterfall, and sometimes locals bathing in the river. Drive to Surabaya. Check in.
Day 6: SURABAYA-HOMETOWN (B)
Free program or city tour subject to departure time. Drop you to airport. See you again in Java!
